In the age of the “all-knowing” barista some of The Best Parts of Waking Up have been lost on our generation. We think the only way to grab a great cup of coffee is to flock to the nearest, hippest coffee spot and grab a seat with our MacBooks. And while this isn’t the worst thing in the world, it leaves us missing out on some of the greatest coffee experiences. Make it at home, in your sweatpants, and plop down on your favorite chair in peace. That truly is the best part of waking up– not standing in line and overpaying.
But what about when you want something different than some instant drip coffee? Maybe an Iced Coffee, perhaps?
The easiest way to do this before was to pre-make some grinds, chill them, and go about it hours later. Well, now thanks to Folgers®, Iced Coffee has never been easier. Just add a squirt or two of their new Iced Café line to some milk, stir, and you’re done. Yeah, it’s that easy.
Now that we have discovered this easy caffeine greatness, we decided to put it to the test and try out some other delicious ways to creatively drink it. What we’ve discovered: it’s good cold, warm, blended with ice, mixed, and the best part, of course, is that you can always refill it and try it a different way.
Our favorite: Add milk, ice, some vanilla extract, a small amount of sugar, and some Folgers® Vanilla Latte Iced Café into a blender. Blend until you’re satisfied. Pour into a cup and enjoy. It’s delicious and you’re welcome.
I am happy to say I will no longer be waiting in line for an iced cappuccino at the big namer down the street from my apartment, but instead will happily save time and money by squirting some Folgers® deliciousness into my milk each morning.
When I used to think of Folgers® I would tend to think of the early mornings at the cabin growing up while my grandparents made their morning coffee. The smell is undeniable, and always a great memory. Now when I think of Folgers®, all I want is an Iced Caramel Macchiato.
Don’t deprive yourself any longer. Trust me.
