How to Book United Flights with Singapore KrisFlyer Miles

One of the reasons I love my Chase and Amex cards is that they both transfer to Singapore Airlines.

And Singapore Air is the airline that offers the private bed in the sky, Singapore Suites Class, that lets Wei and myself get in some amazing zzzs while heading across the pond.

In addition to offering Suites Class for 87k miles, Singapore also offers amazing redemptions when redeeming for United flights.

Like a roundtrip flight from JFK to SFO for 40k miles in Business Class.

How to Book United Flights with Singapore KrisFlyer

I heard from one of you in the comments of our Youtube channel that you’ve been having trouble actually redeeming United flights, so I decided to create a little tutorial.

You start any search on the Singapore Air site and to enter your flight details and remember to click redeem flights.

If there are flights available, you will see this screen showing a United flight from BOS to KOA.

If you get an error, it means there is no availability. I ran into a couple of errors when I searched this BOS-KOA route and put in dates in December, but once I switched it to February, the flights were show.

How to Get 80k United Points

Based on the current cards you have, our recommendation is to get the Chase Ink Business Preferred, which has an 80k sign up bonus, easily enough points for a 2 roundtrip flights in the US with bonus points left over.
