Ledbury Review

I have purchased more than 50 Ledbury shirts, and believe I am one of the top customers, and aficionados of the brand. What makes Ledbury different is their focus first on being an Internet-only shirt maker, which means they have a lot lower overhead than other brands who (started online only), but have since moved into brick and mortar. Ledbury invests the savings into the quality of the fabrics that makeup the shirts. You don’t have a choice of fabric when choosing a particular print or style, but almost all the fabrics are luxuriously soft. I like my off the rack Ledbury shirts much better than those by Bonobos, J. Crew, Combatant Gentlemen or similar shirt makers.

Ledbury Sizing

Ledbury, unlike some of the other custom shirting startups out there, focuses on the standard sizes, which newcomers will be very familiar with. From my experience, I like to go with the Ledbury slim-fitting shirts, as they fit my athletic build a lot better than their off the rack line. I also suggest shortening the sleeves an extra inch or so to give your shirts a more tailored look.

With almost all Ledbury shirts, they’re designed to be tucked in, and they’re actually extra long. What this does is prevent your shirt from coming untucked when you have to bend down, get up, etc.

Ledbury Pricing

Ledbury prices are a bit on the high side with most shirts starting at around $100. However, they often have sales every month or two, and if you really want a shirt, they do hold closeout sales at the end of each season.

While Ledbury originally started out with just shirts, they have since expanded into a number of different areas. Socks, Jackets, Scarves, Polos, and now Pants.

I have two of the jackets and really love them. I had to take them in at the tailor to get a more fitted look, but the quality of the fabric and craftsmanship has the jackets holding up really well.
