ike’s new Air Max 720 is the largest Air bag ever put into their shoes, offering me (and you) all-day comfort. This post is brought to you by Nike. While this was a sponsored opportunity, all content and opinions expressed here are my own. Nike Air’s vision is to become the world’s largest youth enablement platform. Starting in 2019, they want to take the story of “turning imagination into reality”. Their goal is to communicate to the consumer not just the what and the why… but the how.
How to Style the Air Max 720

A simple styling trick I like to use is to match my shoes with my jacket. With these grey kicks, I’ve got my grey bomber jacket. The rule you need to follow is to use neutral colors for the other pieces. I wore a white shirt and black jeans, but you could easily have worn a blue shirt and blue jeans. I wouldn’t recommend pairing a grey shirt as this would look a little too matchy matchy. Another option is to pull the monochrome look and go for an all grey. The key though, since the Nike Air Max 720 is a sneaker, you want your pieces to be more casual to match it.
To keep it casual, pieces like a bomber jacket, which are more athletic forward work. Don’t wear khaki or slacks with these shoes and stay away from classic button-down shirts. For jackets, I would stay away from any pea coats, car coats or anything normally associated with formal wear like a pea coat.

This is often overlooked, but if you look closely, you’ll see that my laces aren’t visible. I tuck them into the shoe to create that beautiful silhouette that the Air Max has. Also, you should always wear ankle socks with these shoes. I’ve found wearing longer socks makes the sneakers look a little funky, so always slip on the anklet socks with your Air Max.
