Here we have my Proper Cloth custom denim shirt paired with Orlebar Brown trunks, and Swims shoes. Proper Cloth originally started out doing very formal shirts, and I’m really excited that they started rolling out more relaxed shirts. So for me, Proper Cloth really is my goto for all my shirting needs. This year they rolled out short sleeve shirts that you can make with all your custom measurements.
Like I said, Proper Cloth built their brand on high quality dress shirts, and this purple gingham check is one of their bests. Whenever I order one of the Proper Cloth shirts I always get my monogram added to it. I like to add it to the left stomach of the shirt, so it looks good when worn without a jacket and is in a spot I can appreciate and only those with a keen eye will see. To me, the monogram is the ultimate in personalization. I go for the typical initials, ASW, but I’ve seen some cool monograms on shirts like “LOL”, “FUN”, etc.
