The Fisherman’s sweater, also known as an Aran Sweater, has been around since the 1800’s, originating off the West coast of Ireland. There have been small changes made over time including softer fabrics, a wider range of colors (they were primarily available in only white or cream) and of course a slimmer look, which we see with most updated classics. Head on over to Mr. Porter and find which of these sweaters will beckon you to the open sea.
