Life, Tailored’s Guide to Spring: What We Can’t Live Without

Life, Tailored is sharing #TheIndisposables in our lives as part of a Schick® Xtreme3® sponsored series for Socialstars.

Spring is that magical time when all our winter angst finally dissipates and the option to go sockless is once again viable.  Green grass, women in sundresses, baseball… all things us men are more than excited for when the snow stars melting.  But while some things are undoubtably pleasant, others are down right necessities.  There are certain things every man needs for spring, and here are the unwavering ones…

A Solid Umbrella

While spring may bring out the warm sunshine we missed all winter, that evaporating snow is going to pour back down on you at some point.  Be ready for whatever the day decides to throw your way, and always keep a sturdy umbrella nearby.

Try this one.

A Great Pair of Glasses

When the rain stops at the sun comes out you don’t want to be caught off guard.  Sun glasses are indispensable and can save you from more than that glare on your windshield.  Plus, you look freakin’ cool.

Try these.

The Right Spring Jacket

Your winter coat now leaves you a sweaty mess, but dare to leave home with nothing and you’ll freeze.  You need something that goes with damn near everything and you can throw on and take off at a moments notice.  Spring is a transition season, your wardrobe should be one as well.

Try this on.

Some Slick Loafers

You’ve been rocking some boots with your suits all winter (at least you should have been), and now it’s time to switch them out for some ankle exposing loafers.  Your choice on tassels or penny, but get the right ones and they will go with everything from beat up jeans to three piece suits.

Try these.

Fresh Sneakers

While the loafers are great for most occasions, you need a good pair of sneakers for the weekends and casual days.  White or off white is your best bet– just don’t play in the mud.  Keep ’em clean and their versatility will surprise you.

Try these on.

The Perfect Shave

Movember has been over for a long time and it’s time to trade those lumberjack beards in for a fresh clean shave.  I know it’s been awhile, and you may have forgotten how to properly trim that mane of yours, so we’d be happy to help.  For a perfectly close and comfortable shave grab one of the Schick® Xtreme3® razors.  The 3 flexible blades with the combination of aloe and vitamin E gives you that indisposable closeness your scruff covered face has been yearning for.

Getting creative with your shave now that it’s time to lose the Viking beard?  Share a photo of your artistic beard creation with us on Instagram and Twitter by using the hashtags “#LifeTailored” and “#Indisposable” and show us how you’re putting your Schick® Xtreme3® razor to use!

Get yours here.
