Get Blown Away by Bahrain On This 3 Day Trip

Bahrain is a unique country in the middle east. It is a nation that has thousands of years of rich history with cities built with beautiful architecture. Bahrain is located on an island, and it offers many cultural adventures, entertainment, and unparalleled leisure activities to its locals and tourists. Overall, it is an excellent destination you and your family can enjoy, and if you can’t decide on your next trip, you might want to consider this beautiful country as your next destination.

Because there are so many activities to choose when in Bahrain, it is kind of hard to fit every little thing into a short trip, which is why I decided to create an itinerary, which enables you to make the most out of your three days in Bahrain.

But before we get into the good stuff, you might want to come prepared–especially if you haven’t been to the countries located in the Middle East before. Traveling like a prepper and preparing for any kind of trip is the best way to maximize your time. If you only have three days to spend in Bahrain–it is best that you come prepared.

Preparing for Your Three-Day Trip to Bahrain

  • Make sure you get all the Visa and entry requirements

As an avid traveler, you probably already know that not all countries’ Visa requirements are the same. If you are booking flights from Dubai to Bahrain or from anywhere in the world–it’s best that you do the research. If you are a US citizen, you will need to obtain a Visa before entering Bahrain.

  • Pack accordingly

It is quite hot in Bahrain, so make sure you pack the right clothes. Tank tops, sunglasses, thin pants, light khakis, high-SPF lotion, shorts, sandals, and swimwear is essential when visiting this country.

Now that you are fully prepared for your trip, let’s look at all the things you can do if you have three days to spend in this beautiful island nation.

Day 1: Make it A Swimming Day

Imagine getting off the plane and feeling the heat. If you are adjusting to the hot weather in Bahrain, you can make your first day a swimming day. Bahrain is home to beaches and waterparks–which is why packing swimwear is definitely a must.

You can take this day to visit the Wahoo! Waterpark, especially if you are flying with your kids. It is a modern waterpark that both kids and adults can enjoy and is packed with different rides, slides, pools, games, and more. It is a mix of both outdoor and indoor activities. Since it is located in the city’s center–you still have time to go around town and dine at the finest restaurants.

Day 2: Architecture and Old Palaces

Now that you fully adjusted to Bahrain’s climate. It’s time to explore. On day two, you can go around and explore the different mosques, old houses, architecture, and other places rich in culture. Make sure you have your camera or phone, because just like Paris’ most Instagrammable locations–Bahrain has its own set of Instagram-worthy locations.

You can walk around City Centre and look at the stunning skyscrapers, or you can travel to different cities and visit places, such as the Al Fateh Grand Mosque, the Bahrain Fort, and more. Plus, if you have enough time, you can go to the mall–you can shop until you drop and enjoy Bahrain’s nightlife. It’s better to enjoy drinks during day 2, so you don’t wake up late if your flight home is on Day 4.

Day 3: Theme Park Day

Whether you are with kids or not, you can spend your last day in Bahrain enjoying theme parks, such as Magic Planet. It is located in City Centre, and it is filled with tons of activities, games, and rides. However, the best thing about this location is the futuristic 4D theater. It is definitely full of magic!

Until Next Time

With all these activities fit into three days, you will definitely maximize your time in this wonderful country. Of course, that is not everything you can do in Bahrain, but it is definitely the most you can do in three days! So make sure you come back!
