Fly Lufthansa Business Class from Dallas to Frankfurt for 70k Miles

We got tasked with finding the best experience in the air with our home airport of DFW, Dallas Forth Worth. So we started searching for all the best Business Class products that originate in DFW and (most likely) fly Internationally. The international carriers almost always have a better Business and First Class product than our American counterparts, and lucky for us we scored a 70k flight on Lufthansa in Business Class to Frankfurt.

Best Business Class with Points from Dallas

Since our goal was to find the best Business Class flight on the best hardware, we opened up Google Flights and looked for non-stop flights on International carriers.

Flying a 747-8 gives you a 100% chance of having the new business class
Flying an A340-300 gives you an ~87% chance of having the new business class

Lufthansa Business Class for 70k United Miles

We were able to find great one-way flights on Lufthansa’s Business Class for just 70k United miles.

This flight below is on the Airbus A340-300, and our goal here is to fly on the newly released Lufthansa Business Class product, which is one of the best in the sky.

When flying into Frankfurt, here is the likelihood we get the new business class product:

Flying a 747-8 gives you a 100% chance of having the new business class
Flying an A340-300 gives you an ~87% chance of having the new business class
Flying an A380 gives you a ~67% chance of having the new business class
Flying an A330-300 gives you a ~55% chance of having the new business class
Flying a 747-400 gives you a ~6% chance of having the new business class

How to Get 100k United Points
