At Gett taxi services the minimum is 15% tip. WE suggest though you leave a 20% or even 25% tip when really satisfied with the service and your ride. At the end of the trip you can also rate your driver, view previous journeys and earn loyalty points towards free rides.
At Lyft the price for your ride is voluntary in some markets, so the amount displayed in your app is just a suggested price for the trip. You can adjust the amount before submitting it, meaning if you want to show your appreciation for a great driver, just hit the “+” button to increase the amount and leave a tip.
