This past week we received two great news from one of our favorite shoe brands. Salvatore Ferragamo is thrilled to announce the renovation and unveiling of 8 rooms in the Uffizi Gallery featuring late fifteenth century art that were made possible with a donation of €600 thousand from the fashion house. The eight rooms opened to visitors on Tuesday, September 15 and display 43 works of art (42 paintings and one sculpture) from the second half of the fifteenth century.
Ferragamo also launched a one-of-a-kind velvet shoe exclusively to celebrate their 100 years in Hollywood anniversary. Their Beverly Hills store was just reopened last week and their Creative Director, Massimiliano Giornetti, designed these shoes to celebrate Ferragamo’s iconic Hollywood archives and Salvatore’s years of creativity in California.
