How to Wear UGG Boots Men Outfit Guide

This post is sponsored by Zappos.

Winter means one thing and one thing only: Cold weather and navigating your way through it. Since this time of year is inevitable, you may as well navigate it with style. This is a sponsored post brought to you by Zappos and UGG.

UGG Boots

UGG Boots were created and founded by Brian Smith in the 1970’s and, although they were originally intended for unisex use, the brand evolved into what it is today: A massive empire that creates designs for both men and women. Not only are they comfortable, but they are fashionable as well and have become something of a staple for winter and fall wardrobes everywhere. The boots are made primarily from sheepskin come in various designs and colors, so there’s a little something for everyone.

How to Choose the Best UGG Boots for You

Pick a Style

When you are looking for a pair of UGG boots, I recommend choosing a style and design that suits both  your personality and clothing choice.

Select the Right Color

Choosing the right color of boot for you is actually a bit more complicated than you’d think. You should pick the color that will match both your skin color and your wardrobe style. A lighter complexion is best paired with natural earth tone colors and a darker complexion matches with darker colors. If your clothes are bright, better pair it with brown or tan colored boots.

Opt for a Suitable Material

UGG company offers boots made of differnt materials that are intended to weather the harsher months. UGG waterproof boots are better to use for rainy and snowy seasons. The classic designs, sadly, are not intended for use in wet weather. Stick to them in early fall.

Outfits That Look Good with Your UGG Boots

Long Pants

Since UGG boots are made for cold weather, long pants go great with a pair of boots. The boots match well with fall and winter outfits. If you want to make you boots look spot on, I recommend tucking your pants in. Colored pants are also artistic choice to wear. Just remember to always choose complementary colors for your boots and pants.

Accessories

Be artistic! You can accessorize the outfit with a scarf, which is sometimes necessary for the cold temperature outside. It will not only make you feel warm, but will also make you look stylish. A Winter cap is cool, too. If all else fails, some other accessories like a watch, necklace, and belt can really make your UGG boots pop.

No Formal Wear

UGG boots may be trendy, but they are not intended to be formal wear. Stick to wearing them to casual events!

Sweatpants

If you are an active person, sweatpants go surprisingly well with UGG boots.

Tips on Wearing Your UGG Boots

Wear Socks

You don’t want your boots to be stinky, do you? You absolutely MUST wear socks with your UGG boots to prevent the formation of bacteria and the awful smell that goes along with it.

Do Not Use UGG in Hot Weather

UGG boots are perfectly made for Winter, which means wearing them in Summer is a big NO! Stick with loafers in the warmer months and leave your UGG boots for fall and winter.
