Whether you like it or not, summer is making way for the fashion infused, windy days of fall. Fall is my hands down my favorite season, not only are you not a sweaty mess every time you walk out of the house, but you have so many more options in the style department before the freeze sets in. As always, we want to help you be ready for what’s ahead and look your best when you get there. Here are our 9 favorite desert boots for fall.
Tod’s Suede Desert Boots $625
They’re crisp, clean and perfectly basic. Flexible rubber soles with suede uppers and leather linings, perfect for an autumn stroll in the city or a barbecue in the burbs. No matter where you wear them, your feet will thank you.
Hugo Boss Double Monk Strap Desert Boots $445
Stand out from the crowd in the best way possible. These suede boots have all the greatness of a desert boot with all the sophistication of a monk strap. Wear ’em with a suit, some cuffed jeans, or your favorite chinos.
Slightly dressier than other suede ankle boots, we love these gems from Suitsupply for exactly that reason. Perfect for some slim fitting black jeans and a leather jacket, or a well tailored suit. These are our all occasions boots, make them yours as well.
John Varvatos Star USA Hipster Chukka $165
In a quick change of style we hit the hipster end of the spectrum. Throw these on with some faded jeans and a graphic tee or flannel button up. Next, head to Williamsburg and make new hipster friends, you will be accepted.
Clarks Original Desert Boots $120
The king of the desert boots, Clarks, is still at the top. While designers of all kinds have put their spin on the classic, you can never go wrong with the original.
Clarks Suede Camo Desert Boots $120
While their originals still kick ass, there’s nothing wrong with a little added flavor. Comfortable as always with a kick, these are great boots from top to bottom. Also a very easy transition into the camo trend if you’ve been skeptical to this point.
Zara Desert Boot $89
Another great suede navy boot, but with a much more manageable price point. Zara is never far off in the style department and these boots are no different. Perfect with some grey chinos or your favorite jeans.
Asos Suede Desert Boots $77
We love the soft construction of these boots almost as much as we love the color. I’d go with some blue chinos, but grey shoes work surprisingly well with most colors. Like all things Asos, these come with a great price tag.
H&M Desert Boots $49
The suede is imitation but the style is real. Coming in at the least expensive on our list, if you are ready for a style upgrade but your wallet isn’t, this should be your next purchase.
This is the perfect option for animal-friendly desert boots.
