Isaora wanted to make a boardshort that got in the way as little as possible. Made out of a poly/stretch blend, the fabric was designed so that the side facing your body is as flat as can be, reducing bulk and subsequent chafing. Save for waistband, the entire short is made using no-sew welding, further reducing unnecessary fabric (and weight). The curved waistband is designed to stay on your body, hugging the hip with the help of a special facing to keep them from slipping off. In terms of closure, Isaora made a real effort here. And as for the laser-cut holes you’ll find: The ones on the side are for ventilation on land; the ones on the pockets are for drainage when you’re in water.
