From the Founders of Lululemon
If you loved Lululemon – the athletic clothing store with amazing yoga and running gear – then you’ll absolutely fall head over heels for Kit & Ace. From the same family of founders, Kit & Ace was created by Shannon and JJ Wilson, who recognized there was a void in the luxury apparel industry. After spending years dressed head to toe in stretchy performance wear, they were looking for clothing that offered the same functionality but that met their desire for sophistication, style and luxury. Since they couldn’t find what they were looking for, they created it.
They combined their expertise – Shannon’s institutional knowledge in product design and JJ’s insights into fashion and retail – to a culminated vision that is Kit & Ace. Their mission is to deliver innovative products that provide comfort and ease of use to the wearer, while still offering the style and quality of the luxury brands they love.
Kit and Ace Clothing
Kit & Ace designs products that benefit in ways that are seamless, luxurious and save precious time. Clothing is made out of Technical Cashmere that’s machine washable. It’s the future of clothing design! All the Kit & Ace pieces feature styles and fabric designs that are easier to use, more comfortable, more hygienic, offer better protection, versatility and style. By elevating luxury fabrics with the application of technical and functional attributes, comfort and functionality are at levels beyond what is currently available. It’s kind of revolutionary!
Kit and Ace Cashmere
We all know luxury is in the details and by all means, all cashmere is not created equally. Kit and Ace is very proud to present you with the new kind of luxury called Technical Cashmere. With this fabric you’ll experience softness like no other. Kit & Ace developed Technical Cashmere because natural cashmere is very delicate and can damage easily. Their fabric creation is machine washable, it has size integrity and won’t shrink. No more trips to the dry cleanings! Enhanced with technical fibers, it’s stretchable and always bounces back to fit perfectly.

The cashmere from Kit & Ace is sourced from happy goats living in both Mongolia and Inner Mongolia, China. To collect it, the goats are combed once a year in April when they are losing their winter hair. Their design teams collaborate with partner factories to engineer each garment and refine its technical details. And after careful production the softest most comfortable fabric is on its way to Kit & Ace shops.
Kit and Ace Vancouver
One of those beautiful locations is their flagship store Gastown Studio in Vancouver, Canada. This is the original Kit & Ace store and therefore perfect to showcase West Coast Luxury clothing and accessories. Each of the Kit and Ace shops is uniquely local in its design and each shop experience is tailored to its environment. Across all stores you’ll find gallery inspired spaces that feature the work of local artists, photography that is iconic to each city, as well as custom light fixtures and furniture. Currently, you’ll find artist Randy Grskovic displayed on the wall. They also host in-store events and partner with local companies, whether that’s the brewery around the corner or a restaurant offering the best in local fare.
