But technology never fails, now a lot of passengers and tourist would prefer Uber and Lyft. With almost zero minute wait time, friendly drivers and cheaper rates, there has to be no better option than this.

2. How Do I Find My Uber and Get My Ride?

Whether you’re headed to work, to or from McCarran International Airport, out of town or  go anywhere else as easy as one, two, three… you just have to open your app. Use the slider at the bottom of your screen to select a vehicle option. Enter your pick location and your destination, tap any vehicle option button to see a fare estimate.

Like most weekends in Las Vegas big event happening and that meant surge pricing was in effect. It happens often at peak times. It also encourages more drivers to get back on the road and be able to earn more money. Usually, the Uber surging only last for a few minutes depends on the demand and the amount of available drivers in your area.Once demand falls or supply increases sufficiently, prices quickly go back to normal, according to Uber. The company also said when using the app, passengers are made aware of the higher fares before requesting a ride.

The prices are generally much cheaper than taking a taxi and can save you $10-15 dollars. With an estimated ride time of 12 minutes, if there’s no traffic, you can also put your exact hotel to see the exact cost of a Lyft or Uber. As of today, if there are no surge it costs $10-13 for Uber and $11-16 for Lyft from the Las Vegas Airport to the Strip

6. Watch Out for Inaccurate Wait Times

If you are going on a meeting or need to close a business deal, be sure to request a ride a few extra minutes early, since Vegas traffic can be absolutely nuts, especially later at night, or if there are big events if drivers are required to pick up at a specific location. Also, there could be many vehicles waiting to enter a hotel driveway, and , the app is unlikely to account for that as well.

7. Can Uber Pick Me Up at the Airport And Drop Me Off?

When requesting  pick ups for Uber  from the airport you have different options,  UberPOOL if you are traveling alone and willing to share your ride for the lowest fare, UberX if you want to request your own affordable ride, good for 1 or 2 riders plus luggage, UberXL when you are traveling with a group and with multiple baggages, or UberSELECT when you request a ride in a mid-tier luxury sedan.  You’ll be asked to confirm your terminal. Be sure to meet your driver in the parking garage nearest to your terminal. For drop off, request a ride when you are ready to go, at least minutes earlier from you check in time,  2 hours before your domestic flight departs and 3 hours before an international flight.
