Recently, Steve Job’s mega yacht, Venus, was sighted sailing in Mexico’s San Cabo bay. Jobs began building his dream yacht in 2008 when hiring on the French Designer, Phillipe Starck, to design the 256 foot yacht. This yacht features special structural glass and a row of 27 iMacs used to control the yacht from its wheelhouse. This dream yacht of Jobs cost him more than $100 million to build, although Jobs passed away before he could sail it.

We are going to take a look at some of the top luxurious yachts there are today. The yachts that represent power, prestige, and a huge emphasis on wealth that differentiates the billionaires from the rest of the jealous world.

5. Octopus

Owned by Microsoft co founder, Paul Allen, Octopus was purchased for $200 million. It is the 8th largest yacht in the world at 414 feet and has features such as 2 helicopters, submarines, seven boats, and a remote-controlled vehicle used to see the ocean floor.

4. Seven Seas

Steven Spielberg’s mega yacht costed him $200 million in order to have his specifications and tastes. Seven Seas includes an infinity pool with a 15 foot glass surface that can be used as a movie screen. It also has a gym, helipad, and private deck.

3. Lady Maura

Owned by billionaire Nasser Al-Rashid, this 344 foot yacht was bought for $210 million. Featuring a swimming pool, retractable roof, and a 75 foot dining table, and a beach resort featuring sand and palm trees makes this yacht truly one of a kind.

2. Dubai

This 525 foot yacht owned by the Prime Minister of the UAE, Shrek Mohammd bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has been called a floating city because it has everything a person could want or need. Costing him $350 million, this yacht has a swimming pool, spa, gym, barbeque area, cinema, and helipad.

1. Eclipse

At our number 1 spot, Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich purchased his super yacht at a whopping $1.2 billion. This yacht is 560 feet that requires a minimum of 70 crew members to operate. Featuring security systems like laser bursts, anti wiretapping, and missile detection systems this yacht is not to be messed with. Some other features include a swimming pool that can be dried and used as a dance floor, an aquarium, 2 helicopters, 3 boats and submarines.
