When planning a vacation, there are any number of factors that a person may have to take into consideration: time off from work, hotel reviews, sight-seeing ventures they may want to embark upon… but perhaps one of the most tedious and time consuming tasks that a person must do is try to find affordable airfare.
All too often, people decide against that lavish European vacation because they fear that it’s too costly and they won’t be able to afford it. Well, Norwegian Air has decided to change that completely. Starting in June, this already affordable company will be offering $69 flights to Europe.
They have been teasing this for quite some time now, even going as far as to offer random, select flights at this discount to excite customers. But we never knew which airports would receive this awesome deal until now.
Norwegian CEO Bjørn Kjos recently let it slip that Norwegian Air will be offering flights from the United States to Europe at the lowest cost we’ve ever seen starting this coming June. Arguably the best part, however, is that Kjos anticipates this just being the beginning. In the coming years, he predicts, we’ll be seeing much more low fare transatlantic flights!
Although a full list of participating airports has not yet been released, it has been confirmed that Stuart Airport, which is roughly 60 miles outside of New York City, will be one of the lucky few, as well as T.F. Green Airport, which is about 6 miles outside of Providence in Rhode Island.
So the flight prices are very random, and you need to do a little digging to find the best deals.
We were able to find a $99 one-way flight from New York-Newburgh to Edinburgh Scotland for $99. Once you’re in Europe there are plenty of ways to connect from Edinburgh.
