Are you dreaming of a real Cuba Libre and some palm tree shade with sounds of Rumba on the side? Not a dream anymore, my friend! As US relations with Cuba have finally cooled down a bit, Cuba Travel Services announced that today, they’ll be launching weekly flights from New York’s JFK International to Havana, Cuba. This is the first time that scheduled service between NYC and the Cuban capital will be offered. The round-trip prices will start at $779, and first-class flight costing $1,300 one way. Once-a-week flights to Cuba will be operated by Sun Country Airlines using a Boeing737-800, and the ticket also includes obligatory travel taxes, along with required medical insurance. Not a bad deal if you’re a cigar kind of guy!
