Recently opened in the heart of Tribeca, Church Street Tavern is an upscale twist on amazing American tavern food. Featuring a well-crafted raw oyster bar alongside everything from a delicious pumpkin bisque, to an absolute mouth watering burger, Church Street Tavern is serving it up perfectly.
“But it’s just another high end bar in NYC…” you might be telling yourself. Well, here’s where things differ: You aren’t paying strictly for the ambiance and address, you’re paying for a damn good meal with the best wait staff you’ll ever have take care of you. Perfectly attentive to the point our drinks were never empty, our food was elegantly presented to us and explained by the servers and chefs, and I couldn’t say a bad thing about any item on the menu if I wanted to (we tried damn near everything).

Food not in your plans tonight? Just a liquid dinner? They can help elevate that for you too. Walk downstairs through the mirrored hallway and into the lower level speakeasy, Bandit’s Roost. With red velvet walls and a cocktail menu that will shock and awe you, the bar is as good as the food. And that says a lot.
