Today we are helping a client fly to the Philippines in Business Class 90k points. We loved Manila for its mix of colonial architecture and modern skyscrapers. Our stay at The Bay Leaf Intramuros was nothing short of stellar with luxurious accommodations and amazing cuisine. This property, located within the city walls, made it easy for us to explore the city.

I’m going to the Philippines next month but I’m trying to avoid layovers in China due to the corona virus. I would prefer to fly business class if I don’t have to use up a lot of points.

We found many flights to the Philippines without a stopover in China, as requested. We are highlighting the United Airlines flight.
Fly to Manila for 181.5k Points on Delta
We began our search with Delta Airlines which offered a number of flights with Economy and Business Class availability. At a points price of 181.5k points for an Economy ticket and 560k for Business Class, we discarded this prospect and continued searching.

Korean Air offered better alternatives and the 42.5 each way. On this $632 Economy flight you are getting a measly $0.014 per point. We think we can do better.

We searched United Airlines and were fortunate enough to find a $12,900 flight going for a cool 180k points round trip with a nominal fee. This option is giving you a sweet $0.072 per point. This special price is around the same as a one way in Premium Economy making it an exceptional value. Economy rings in at 80k round-trip.
