Jamaica was my first, and is still one of my favorite Caribbean islands to visit. Yes, I love it because I spent my honeymoon there, but every time I get a spicy Jamaican Jerk patty and coconut bread, I feel transported back to Seven Mile Beach and can almost hear the steel drums and rustling palm leaves.
Today we are helping a couple book a cheap flight from the Baltimore area to Montego Bay for their honeymoon.
Keep reading to discover how you can book your flight from BWI to MBJ for just 33k points at $0.022 per point.

Cheap Flights from Baltimore to Montego Bay
Hopping a flight out of Baltimore is one of my preferred routes. With several airports nearby, the odds of finding the flight you want at a price you like is greatly increased. For this trip to Montego Bay from Baltimore, we found a number of flights but we are highlighting the Delta flight we found at just 33k points return per ticket.
30k Points on American
When booking with American, it comes down to a matter of what is truly important to you in your travel experience. A competitively priced ticket at $539 takes over 27 hours to arrive. Booking a points flight means that any hope of getting a non-stop flight or arriving in less than half a day are off the menu. The points conversion is $0.018. Overall, this is a disappointing option.
35k Points on United
On United we found flexible travel dates which is a plus. However, you will get soaked for an additional $34 each to use overhead bins. On your honeymoon, you want to bring carry-on baggage because really, if your luggage is misdirected, you want to have the basics, to see you through. With this in mind, we opted for the storage bin fee driving the ticket up to $508 which gives you $0.15 per point. While we have saved 5k points with this option, our points value is not the best. Let’s see what else we can find.
31.2k Points on Jet Blue
We found Jet Blue flights for as low as 31.2k. At $911, this flight gives you $0.029 per point. On a once-in-a-lifetime trip like your honeymoon, it is well worth it. Bonus, you can easily transfer your new Chase Sapphire points through Chase Ultimate Rewards to redeem for this flight. Chase offers a 1:1 ratio on transfers to Jet Blue.
How to Get 80k Jet Blue Points
Based on the current cards you have, our recommendation is to get the Chase Ink Business Preferred, which has an 80k sign up bonus, easily enough points for two round trip Blue Extra flights with bonus points left over. Easily transfer your points through Chase Ultimate Rewards to complete your booking.
