Lily Aldridge is dark-haired, with broad cheekbones and smile, olive skin, and a fetching gap in her front teeth. Her father, Alan Aldridge, is the psychedelic British illustrator known for his collaboration with Andy Warhol and, among other things, for doing the cover of The Who‘s second album, A Quick One (1966), and sleeve art for Elton John‘s 1975 album Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy. Alan Aldridge moved to Los Angeles in 1980 and Lily Aldridge was born there in 1985.

Lily Aldridge began modeling in the early 2000s, appearing on the cover of Spanish Vogue in 2003. Her 2006 “I Walk the Line” commercial for Levi’s Jeans brought her fresh attention. In 2009, Lily Aldridge gained a little more fame when she hit the runway for the annual holiday Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show; she became a Victoria’s Secret regular in the years that followed. Aldridge also began posing for the annual Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in 2014.

She appeared in the video for the Kings of Leon single “Use Somebody” in 2008, about the time she began dating the band’s front man, Caleb Followill; the two were married on May 12, 2011. Their daughter, Dixie Pearl Followill, was born on June 21, 2012.
