A native Californian American actress, Julia Goldani Telles is one actress you have to keep your eye on. She is known for her most iconic roles in the recent Showtime’s new series, “The Affair.”

Julia Goldani Telles Biography

Julia Goldani Telles is a wondrous mix of Mexican-American and Brazilian but she was born in Los Angeles, Califronia. However, she spent her childhood living in Rio de Janiero where she learned how to ballet. They moved back to America in year 2000. Her family moved back to Los Angeles when she was five where they stayed for good. She enrolled in Manhattan’s Professional Children’s School when she 13 years old.

 

She was able to learn and improve with her ballet skills with the help from different schools, such as the School of American Ballet where she was able to perform in several ballets like the “Swan Lake,” “Sleeping Beauty” and “Nutcracker.”

 

However, Julia suffered from tendonitis and other ballet-related hip injuries stopping her from pursuing her ballet dreams. But that didn’t stop her and decided to venture into a new form of art, drama.

 

In 2011, Julia got her first acting role on a TV show without passing any resumes, or even a real acting experience. She appeared on the short-lived ABC family show, “Bunheads,” 2012 and ended in early 2013 after  18 episodes. That same year, she was in Nat & Alex Wolff’s music video for “Greatest Prize.”

 

After her biggest opportunity with Bunheads, she started acting on minor guest roles on several TV shows like “Blue Bloods,” “The Carrie Diaries.”

 

Her luck came back when she got the major role of  Whitney Solloway on Showtime’s “The Affair.” Now in its second season in 2015, Telles continues to appear as the daughter to Dominic West of “The Wire” and Maura Tierney of “E.R.
