Ryan Christian Kwanten conceived 28 November 1976 in Sydney, the child of Kris, a Lifeline operation shop organizer, and Eddie Kwanten, a specialist at NSW Maritime. His dad is Dutch. Kwanten has two siblings, Mitchell, a performer, and Lloyd, a specialist. He went to St Paul’s College in Manly and later earned a degree in trade from the University of Sydney.

He is an Australian on-screen character and entertainer. He played Vinnie Patterson from 1997 to 2002 in the Australian cleanser musical drama Home and Away. After his spell finished, he joined the American high schooler dramatization arrangement Summerland, depicting Jay Robertson. In 2008, he was given a role as Jason Stackhouse in True Blood.
