Williams had three more established siblings—Bob, Don, and Dick Williams. His first execution was in a kids’ choir at the neighborhood Presbyterian church. He and his siblings shaped the Williams Brothers quartet in late 1938, and they performed on radio in the Midwest, first at WHO, in Des Moines, Iowa, and later at WLS, in Chicago, and WLW, in Cincinnati.
In 1961, Williams wedded Claudine Longet, moved to Los Angeles, California, and marked with Columbia Records. He performed live to a sold-out pack in the Circus Maximus showroom. He featured for Caesars for the following twenty years.
In June 1991, Williams’ sibling Don welcomed him to the little Ozarks town of Branson, Missouri. Wear Williams at the time was the chief for performer Ray Stevens, who had quite recently opened an auditorium in Branson.
In 2007, Williams opened the Moon River Grill neighboring his venue in Branson.
