Stand Out Socks: Arthur George

Simply put, a man can never have too many socks.  But we aren’t talking gym socks or plain black socks like your grandpa’s grandpa wore, we are talking about stylish socks.  We are talking about socks that are just as much of a fashion statement as they are practical.  Socks like this aren’t always easy to find (at least not quality ones) but when you find a brand you like you don’t want to buy anything else… You should try Arthur George.

How Arthur George Got Its Start

If you’ve never heard of Arthur George it is the brain child of reality TV star and entrepreneur, Rob Kardashian.  Launching in 2012 the line was released exclusively to Neiman Marcus where it was quickly recognized as a quality, premier sock line.  The line has continued to grow and has released both men’s and women’s lines in a variety of styles.  The brand now features several collections, including their Couture line, Street Wear, Anklets and then some.

Aside from being a stylish company, they are also a good one, Arthur George runs a pair-4-pair program, where they donate a pair of socks to someone in need for each pair sold.

Interesting Fact:
The name Arthur George is a combination of Rob’s middle name, Arthur, and his father’s middle name, George.

Arthur George, A Damn Fine Sock

I’m a big sock guy (as odd as that sounds), I have tons of bright colored, randomly striped and polka dotted socks in my drawer.    Until writing this review I had never even looked at a pair of Arthur George socks, not that I didn’t hear about them, I did, I just had never encountered any.

After trying on my first pair, which were grey with green/yellow dots I was sold.  They were subtle yet made a statement, they didn’t fall down, which is a huge factor in my book and they were comfortable.

You may be thinking to yourself, socks are socks, right?  But quality always stands out, these socks are Italian made from quality cotton, nylon and spandex and are just done right.

Where to Get Some Arthur George Socks

Arthur George socks are available in a couple of places, you can find them in retail stores at Neiman Marcus, and they can also be found online at Neimanmarcus.com or at the Arthur George website, AGSocks.com.  The Couture line (which is our favorite) runs at $30 a pair, and is worth each dollar.  The other lines start at $15 and run up to $38.

Final Review
