When menswear icon Nick Wooster gets involved in designing you know you’re going to get something unique and the Greats x Wooster x Lardini is no exception. Nick loves slip on sneakers and it was an obvious silhouette for Nick to work with.
Nick decided on two of Lardini’s classic textiles for this collaboration, a premium cotton canvas in hues of olive and khaki and a classic black and white wool houndstooth. He then positioned them in mismatched fashion with the left shoe being different from the right shoe. Each style sits atop and exaggerated Margom outsole adding a bit more height than Great’s traditional Margom sole. Nick Wooster + Lardini branding can be found on the full veg tan calf lining along with Greats’ signature bar tack stitch found on the heel.
The Greats x Wooster x Lardini is handmade in Civitanova, Italy and is limited to 50 pairs per color for $280 and will be available on Monday, April 13th on Greats.com.
