The sun is out, the birds are chirping, the depression of winter is finally gone. And while most people are focusing on getting their beach bodies ready for the upcoming months, we’re here to remind you another time of the year is also upon is; it’s wedding season. Old friends, bridesmaids, potential dates… so many people you want to impress at these shindigs this summer. The best way to do it: a custom suit from Imparali.
Sure, the guy at Macy’s was friendly, and I’m sure he’s seen a magazine or two and might even have an idea of how you want a suit to fit. But he doesn’t know how to make that happen, and he can’t make it happen in that $100 low-end Calvin Klein you just pulled from the rack. If you want a suit built right, you need to start from scratch and build it around the man who’s going to wear it.
We understand it’s not as easy to get a custom suit built for you some places as it is in New York, which is a big reason we picked Imparali as our go to suiting brand. If you’re in the area, stop in and take care of business in person, if you’re halfway across the country, Imparali will still happily work with you, building a measurement profile around your fit to ensure you receive exactly what you want.
Here’s how it works…
If you aren’t in NYC and want Imparali to build you a suit, there are a few steps you need to take. Take this form to your local tailor and have him write down your measurements. In most cases this should be free. Imparali will then keep all your measurements on file so you can order as many suits as you’d like moving forward without having to be remeasured.
Once you have your measurements, all the details are up to you. You choose the color, the fabric, the monogram, the buttons, literally every last detail. This can all be done online, and is an extremely simple process.
3-4 weeks later your suit will arrive at your front door– with free shipping, of course. And in the unlikely chance the suit isn’t fitting the way you want (maybe you lost a little off the midsection in the last 3-4 weeks? Good for you!) you can send it back for free and they will make the changes.
With over 20 styles to choose from online, and some of the most knowledgable minds in the sartorial business, Imparali is definitely one of our favorite suiting brands in a city that is full of them.
Check them out for yourself and show us your photos on Instagram and Twitter using the hashtags “#LifeTailored” and “#Imparali”. You’re going to want to show this off.
