For some reason, there is an intense double standard when it comes to bath products. Entire aisles in the supermarket are dedicated to women and the various products they can use to leave their skin smelling and feeling luxurious. Men, on the other hand, are limited to a small handful of reliable standbys with neutral scents. At least until now.
Old Spice, one of the most reliable, high quality names in men’s grooming right now, has come up with a solution to this age old problem.
Known primarily for its men’s skincare, hygiene, and hair care products, Old Spice has been a brand that men can count on for years now.
With their latest product, Hydro Wash, they are standing by that reliable brand while leave your skin smelling and feeling great.
The product’s main goal, unlike many competitors on the market right now, is to leave your skin feeling silky smooth and hydrated. This is especially great for men with naturally dry skin, as they typically struggle to find products geared towards men that resolve this common issue.
Old Spice’s Hydro Wash comes in 3 “scents”: Steel Courage, Live Wire, and Pure Sport Plus. Regardless of which scent you prefer, your skin will be feeling better than ever after just a few washes with this bad boy.
Old Spice Hydro Wash Review
Although Live Wire and Sport Power Plus are old, reliable Old Spice standbys, Steel Courage is their new product, and it is my personal favorite so far.
If you look at the photo above, this is the Live Wire scent, with a small dose in my hand, then look at the photo below of one of the competitors body wash. And there’s actually some science to back this up — Hydro Wash offers superior hydration with over 20% hydro-moisturizing complex.
I could barely keep the competitors goop in my palm without it running out.
I personally never thought a new innovation in body wash could happen. I mean, most body washes just have a new marketing campaign, but this Old Spice Hydro Wash really impressed me.
This is my new go-to body wash and I highly recommend you check it out!
