Unmotivated by the current athletic offering for men that is both functional and fit for a busy lifestyle, the brand is created by Daniel Shapiro, a veteran in the retail industry. With over a decade-long merchandising career with some of the most well-known fashion brands in the world, the founder has worked to perfect the Collection for the past 5 years. Inspired by vintage images of Ivy League athletes, modern art and extensive travel from Bhutan to the outskirts of Florence, Fourlaps offers high-quality, well-designed apparel, created to fit this man’s regime and make him look and feel his best, all within reach.
Named after the four laps it takes to complete a mile on a track, Daniel launched Fourlaps with a START BEFORE YOU’RE READY™ mindset. The powerful slogan will be seen as a design detail throughout the line, premiering with the debut collection that will highlight the mantra on two of the Signature Tees. Adding a personal touch to the collection, the Signature Tees are created with an ultra-soft tri-blend fabric by STL Style, a St. Louis-based apparel company, where Daniel was born and raised.
Comprised of bright, optimistic colors and clean, classic lines, each style is carefully crafted with the athlete in mind. The Rush Jogger and Short, as well as the Bolt and Advance Short, feature practical zippers and multiple pockets to securely hold your phone, keys and wallet while you train. The reflective signature four logo located on the back of the Bolt and Advance short and Dash Tank, Smash Tee and Silver-Charge Tee, keeps you visible at night. The Dash Tank and Smash Tee are also designed with moisture wicking and odor resistant fabrics that keeps you cool and dry, and most importantly, smelling fresh.
The highlight of the debut collection is the Silver-Charge Tee, made with XT2® Anti-Odor Technology. Crafted in Los Angeles and designed in Heather Grey and Blue, it is made with XT2® anti-odor technology which utilizes the power of silver to help eliminate odors on the garment for the life of the product.
