Social Hour at Strip House Midtown

It’s five o’clock somewhere, right? Happy hour in New York City can be overwhelming with so many different options but Strip House in Midtown makes it simple for you. Introducing their new Social Hour on Mondays through Fridays from 4pm-7pm you can stop in, relax and enjoy yourself.

Their new Social Hour brings updates to their bar menu taking upscale steakhouse favorites and creating the perfect bite for a post-work snack. Some of these appetizers include mouth watering Goose Fat Potato Knishes, Brioche Wrapped Kobe Hot Dog, and Surf n Turf Tartare. Not bad for unwinding after a long day at the office, huh?

Their drink menu has some new updates as well with the addition of local beers, wines, and spirits of your choice. But it’s not just the drink specials here that we are crazy about, it’s the drinks themselves. The bartenders at Strip House Midtown take the time to execute the perfect cocktail down to the finishing touches. We were so impressed that we wanted to share with you two of their popular cocktail recipes.

The Manhattan

What You’ll Need

• 2 1/2 oz Makers Mark
• 1 1/4 oz Carpano Antica
• Few Dashes Cherry Bitters

How To Serve

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.  Stir 20x, strain into a martini glass.  Garnish with 3 bourbon soaked cherries on a toothpick.  Enjoy!

Black Truffle Martini

What You’ll Need

• 3 oz Double Cross Vodka
• 1 lb Crumbled Stilton Cheese
• 3 tbs Heavy Cream
• 2 tbs White Truffle Oil
• 2 1/2 tbs Black Truffle Puree

How to Create Your Black Truffle Spread Olives

In the Kitchenaide mixer with the paddle attachment, at low speed, combine the crumbled Stilton cheese, heavy cream and truffle oil. When mixed, increase the speed until well combined. Add the black truffle puree and mix well. Cool in refrigerator.

The Drink

Combine the vodka and ice in a shaker, shake 20x, strain into a martini glass and garnish with olives filled with your delicious black truffle spread.
