She is a mix of Chinese, German and Irish blood. At the age of 2 her mother remarried a man who works for the Air Force. She moves frequently and spent most of their time in Tokyo, Japan. She was recognized as “Lisa Munn” until 2006 when she changed it to “Olivia Munn”.

Olivia was present in the Japanese fashion Industry and local productions. When her parents divorced, she moved back to Oklahoma and went to Putnam City North High School. In college she studied at the University of Oklahoma majored in Journalism.

Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming actress. She appeared in small roles until she landed at the G4 network and co-hosted “Attack of the Showl”, “Big Stan”, “Insanitarium”, “Date Night”, “Iron Man 2 and ABC Family’s “Greek”.

Her role as a reporter on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” had put her steadfastly in the public eye. Olivia Munn later guest starred on “Chuck” and films “I Don’t Know How She Does it” and “Magic Mike”. She became regular on “The Newsroom” in 2012

When asked by Salon.com if she is comfortable in a bikini? She said “I’m someone who knows how to look at ease. As a part of my job I know my angle”. Salon also noted that she cussed a lot “It sounds better. Nothing says “bitch” like “bitch”. “Cu*t” is a great word. Underused and overanalyzed.”

Her other endorsements are Nike, Pepsi and Neutrogena. She also wrote a book, “Suck it, Wonder Woman: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek.”

Olivia Munn’s cell phone was allegedly hacked and pictures leaked onto the internet. It was never confirmed if it was her.

Olivia went nude for an ad for PETA to boycott the circus. “When you look at something like the circus and everyone’s laughing and there’s color and there’s music and everything’s seems so great, but when you go behind the door and they’re in crates all day long and they’re getting shocked and beaten up so they can get up and dance around on a ball.
