Compared to her earlier albums, this was her least successful album. It featured the singles ‘Lighters Up’ and ‘Whoa’. After her release from jail in 2006 she began working on a mix tape, ‘Ms. G.O.A.T’—it was her first release post the completion of her prison term. The tape featured several new songs as well remixes of some old songs.
She brought out another mix tape ‘Black Friday’ in 2011. The mix tape received negative reviews from critics as Lil’ Kim had used abusive language against the singer Nicki Minaj in her lyrics in response to personal enmity between the two.
