Hannah Stocking studied Biological Sciences and a Chemistry major at the Dominican University of California and became a volleyball player during her stay. Before that, she attended Ashland High School in Ashland, Oregon, where she played volleyball as well. As a three-year varsity player in high school with the Ashland Grizzlies, she did not lose a Southern Sky Conference game (24-0) in that span. She also played club volleyball for MOcean Volleyball Club.

When Hannah Stocking reached 1 million Instagram followers, she posted: “Wow! 1 million followers on Instagram. I am very appreciative. It hasn’t always been so peachy behind the scenes but I thank you all for your love and support. I have love for everyone – even those whose lives would be made to see me fail in life. I still have love for you. But even more unconditional love for those who love and support me too! I mean well, and always have.
