Emily Sears Biography

From what we’ve seen of her breathtaking Instagram feed, Emily Sears isn’t shy, and she sure knows how to accentuate her best assets. The Australian-born model, who now lives in Los Angeles, California, has been on the cover of Zoo Weekly 10 times.

Growing up in the culturally diverse Melbourne, Australia, with art publishers for parents, Emily was exposed at a young age to a passion for aesthetics. That passion has developed into a love for modelling that has gone far beyond vanity and the superfluous.

It’s no accident that Emily has her good looks though, as good looks seem to run in the family. Her great aunt, Wendy Martin, was the 1956 Australian model of the year, and lived in LA after being discovered by the great Helmut Newton, fashion photographer for Vogue magazine.

Having a desire to continue her family’s modelling legacy, Emily set out to take some photos of her own that she hoped would someday be like the vintage pin-ups she’d seen of her great aunt. They would be photos that she too could one day show to her own grandchildren.

Emily did her research, and landed her first shoot with Harlem Productions Australia. That first shoot was such a success that it was sold to two magazines, which saw Emily Sears as a cover model for the first time.

Her first cover with Zoo Weekly, Australia’s highest-selling men’s magazine, was such a sales success that she was offered a role as a regular columnist, giving dating and sex advice to the magazine’s readers.

With looks like Emily’s, it’s not surprising that she’s a pro. To date, she’s graced the covers of 15 international magazines, including GQ USA, FHM, Maxim, Kandy Magazine, Ralph, M, Transworld Motocross, and Zoo Weekly.

However, Emily isn’t only at her best when she’s in front of the camera. She also appears at events to represent and speak for brands such as Esquire Magazine, Ciroc Vodka, Naven, Strikeforce MMA, Kuhmo Tires, Comfort Revolution, Two in the Shirt, Monster Energy Drinks, and Maneater Swimwear. She’s even rubbed shoulders with the likes of Mick Jagger and Oprah whilst working events.

Emily has appeared in a variety of television commercials and music videos, including Dr Dre’s “The Recipe”. She’s even been invited by Hugh Hefner to the Playboy Mansion, but she’s not made a habit of hanging out there.

Believe it or not, Emily isn’t just a pretty face and a bodacious body. The video she posted on YouTube in 2011, asking people to ban the export of live animals, gave us a glimpse of her inner beauty too. In the video, she says,

“You don’t have to be a tree-hugging hippie to be against animal cruelty.

My name is Emily Sears, and I’m a bikini model.

We want you to ban live export… If you can’t hear the animals, hear us.”

Isn’t that just the cutest thing you’ve ever heard?

In addition to being in front of the camera, Emily Sears is also a qualified make-up artist, and claims to be “a pretty good singer”. We’d certainly like to hear more from Emily!
