This podcast is as addictive as heroin

Everyone’s favorite podcast, Serial, an investigative audio documentary by the creators of This American Life, is back for a second season.

This season host Sarah Koenig dives into the story of Bowe Bergdahl, the soldier captured in Afghanistan and held prisoner by the Taliban for five years before being traded to the U.S. in exchange for multiple prisoners from Guantanamo Bay.

Bergdahl’s mysterious disappearance has been under the microscope since he returned to The States, with a lot of speculation and very little information actually released to the public.

But Serial is awesome. They know their shit and they kick ass at their job. Just as Sarah strong us along in suspense week-by-week with the story of Adnan Syed in season one, she’s already started out strong in season two.

We don’t want to be the assholes who ruin the first episode and drop huge spoilers on you before you even get started. But if you haven’t already pretended to work while paying full attention to your earbuds yet, there’s no time like the present.

We will tell you this– the first episode ends with Sarah calling the Taliban, and we’re already on the edge of our seats for next week’s piece of the story.
