He frequently works in collaboration with Edgar Wright, Jessica Hynes, Nick Frost and Dylan Moran with whom he has produced some of his best works. He loved watching horror movies as a kid and also had a penchant for comedy. He was musically inclined during his childhood and used to play drums in a band as a teenager. Having decided early in his life to pursue a career in acting, he studied drama at university. After his graduation he started performing stand-up comedy before establishing himself as a stage comedian.
